Michael Kraft
Michael Kraft is a dedicated musician and teacher with decades of experience performing and sharing the joy of music. A graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, Michael studied music composition under the legendary American composer George Crumb.
His training includes private study with some of the world’s most respected musicians:
Jazz Guitar: Pat Martino, Joe Sgro, Dennis Sandole, Joe Federico
Classical Guitar: Daniel Nistico, PhD, and Allen Krantz
Violin: Wallace Depue, Jason Depue (1st Violin, Philadelphia Orchestra), Alex Depue
Cello: Sally Sanders
Michael also spent 23 years as a house musician in many of Atlantic City’s top casinos, where he developed a rich career as a professional performer.
Today, he brings that same expertise and passion into the classroom, offering lessons in Guitar (Jazz & Classical), Violin, Viola, Cello, and Ukulele. Known for his patience and encouragement, Michael works with students of all ages and skill levels — helping them build confidence, refine technique, and discover the lifelong joy of playing music.
